RIMBEY, AB – The May 26th NPP Late Model Series race event at Central Alberta Raceways in Rimbey, Alberta has been cancelled. Close to 10 inches of snow is on the ground (as of 2:00PM Thursday) due to a rare spring snowstorm currently blasting central and southern Alberta. The snow, which is expected to melt on Friday as temperature hit double digits (again), will make for unacceptable track and pit conditions on Saturday.
