SANGUDO SHUFFLE

SANGUDO, AB – The grassroots atmosphere of Alberta Stock Car racing is alive and well at Sangudo Speedway. The racetrack, which opened its doors back in 1990, has released its tentative Oval schedule for the 2016 season. Twelve dates appear on the tentative schedule which is consistent with past seasons. Six of these race dates are scheduled for long holiday weekends. All scheduled shows in Sangudo Alberta, for the 2016 season, are also two-day race weekends. The Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series last competed at Sangudo Speedway in 2014. Sunny and hot conditions that kicked off this race weekend lasted only a few hours. Heavy rain moved into the region wiping out the remainder of the two-day show. Day-one Heat and Dash races were the only races to see the checkered flag.
