The NPP display was part of Motorsport Expo 2008. “This is the first year that the Motor Sport Expo has been organized” says Whitecourt Chamber of Commerce manager Cheryl Munro, “there are a lot of racers in the (Whitecourt) area that the community isn’t aware of and we wanted to showcase these different types of sports.” It wasn’t just NPP Late Model Series race teams that participated. Motorcycles, ATV’s, a racing boat, and two race teams from the Scott Safety Alberta Sprint tour were also on display. “It was great to be able to mingle with the other racers,” adds Craig, “we all agreed that this inaugural trade fair display was huge for motorsports.”
