EDMONTON, AB – The Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series has been given a sneak peak of Castrol Raceways tentative 2010 Oval schedule. Track officials have trimmed its Oval race schedule down to fourteen dates for the 2010 season (nineteen dates in 2009). “A total of twelve race dates have been made available to the NPP Late Model Series,” indicates NPP Series announcer Gord Craig, “we just have to figure out which ones we want. That will be determined at the upcoming NPP Series fall meeting.” Two important milestones will be reached next season adds Craig. “The NPP Series and our home track are celebrating anniversaries in 2010. It’s the 10th anniversary of the NPP Series plus it’s the 20th anniversary of the Oval track.” The NPP Late Model Series held its first sanctioned race in Edmonton in 2001 and has been the official home track of the Series since then.
