HANDING OUT THE HARDWARE

DEVON, AB. – The Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series top three drivers and rookie of the year were honored at the 2011 Season Championship Awards Banquet hosted by Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway Saturday night. About 200 people jammed the Devon Community Center for a night of food and celebration. “Great way to wrap up our tenth anniversary season,” smiles NPP Series announcer Gord Craig, “this night was for the drivers and race teams that always put on an incredible show when they’re on the track.” Castrol Raceway president Rob Reeves and Castrol Raceway oval director Rollie Nash presented the awards to all competitors in the NPP Series.

Trophies were awarded to the top three drivers in the NPP Series Championship points chase. The 2011 NPP Series Rookie of the Year received a plaque. Plans for the 2012 season of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series continue.
