DEJA VU AT SKAGIT

ALGER, WA – For the second consecutive weekend Team NPP’s Lane Zerbin registered a Heat race win and a 6th place Feature finish at Skagit Speedway.  Zerbin indicates the car handled fairly well the entire race night.  “Car was a little bit free at times but we did manage another top-10 which is good.”  The opportunity to grab his first ever Feature win at the Alger, Washington track was there for the taking.  Zerbin started on the pole for the Saturday night Feature.  “Don’t really know what went on,” admits the Victoria, British Columbia driver, “got pinched a bit going into turn one.  A little frustrating but we’ll get a win here eventually.”

The driver of the Northern Provincial Pipelines/Alien Race Cars #81 Modified ran in the top-5 for the majority of the Feature.  “The handling is there.  We’re getting closer to that first win here.”  Zerbin has two podium appearances at Skagit Speedway with Feature finishes of 2nd and 3rd dating back to the 2019 season. Zerbin now prepares for the IMCA Modified Clash at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington on Saturday and Sunday, May 23/24.
