BACK TO THE TRACK

VICTORIA, BC – It’s been almost a full calendar year since Team NPP driver Lane Zerbin competed in an IMCA Modified event.  On Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, Zerbins race season ended in a fiery 2-car crash at Cottage Grove Speedway.  Zerbins brand new race car, which had completed in only six-races, was a complete write-off.

Lane Zerbin’s father (Ted) owns Alien Race Cars in Victoria, British Columbia.  Plans to build a new race car were put on hold as customer cars always come first.  Lane Zerbin quickly realized that getting back on the track in 2022 was not going to happen.  Work began on Zerbin’s new IMCA Modified during the winter months.  Zerbin released a tentative schedule showing a potential return to competition the end of May.
