2015 SCHEDULE UPDATE

EDMONTON, AB – Competitors and race fans of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series have been patiently waiting for the official release of the 2015 schedule. The schedule delays have been unfortunate but as the old saying goes – ‘Good things come to those who wait.’ Just added to the 2015 NPP Late Model Series schedule is the 3rd annual Race of Champions featuring some of the stars from NASCAR. This event will be competed at Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway on Friday, July 24th. The date may be set but the guest driver line-up has yet to be announced. Previous drivers that participated in past Race of Champions events include Michael Waltrip, Sterling Marlin, Ken Schrader, Dave Blaney and Kenny Wallace. Schrader won the first two ROC events in 2012 and 2013.

Castrol Raceway and the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series will officially announce this year’s Race of Champions driver line-up in the coming weeks. With the Race of Champions event and date secured, NPP Late Model Series officials indicate that the final pieces of the 2015 schedule can now be put into place. The 2015 schedule will be finalized and officially released by the end of next week. The 15th consecutive season of NPP Late Model Series race action begins Saturday, May 23rd in Edmonton. Test ‘n’ tune is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, also in Edmonton.
