SEASON PREVIEW: #14 DARRELL MIDGLEY
SIDNEY, BC
– The race season hasn’t even started yet and Darrell Midgley is facing some added challenges.  “Along with running the NPP Series this year, I’ll be running Western Speedway in Victoria, British Columbia.”  What’s ironic about this situation is that the only racing the Sidney, BC driver will probably get to do this year will most likely be NPP events in the province of Alberta. “On scheduled race nights here in BC I’ll be too busy behind the scenes to race,” laugh’s Midgley, “I have to travel to Alberta to get my racing fix.  I am looking forward to this season though and the new challenges before me.  If I can get a good start (NPP Season) and be on the ‘good’ side of the flagman, I think my team has a chance at winning this thing in 2007.”  Last season, Midgley finished third in the NPP point standings.  Midgley also finished third in the point standings in 2004.
