WEBSITE RENO UPDATE
EDSON, AB  – Major renovations to the official racing website of Northern Provincial Pipelines Ltd. are about 40% complete. “Its getting down to crunch time,” admits NPP Series announcer Gord Craig, “the goal was to have the new look site launched by late February early March. We are now into the first week of March so the countdown is on.” Craig admits the re-design of the npp-racing.com website has been a huge undertaking. “With individual race reports, results and driver stats plus records, we’ve accumulated a lot of content over the years.” The npp-racing.com website has grown from just a few pages to more than 270 pages of content since its official launched back on May 1st, 2007. “Transfering all the racing pages to the new look website will take some time. The focus right now is getting the main pages of the website finished and activated.” Craig expects the old website will be officially retired before March 15th. “There won’t be any interruption (to website access) but on-line visitors will immediately know that the new site has been activated.” The new npp-racing.com website will be launched in stages. “Right now the landing (home) page and the NPP racing news pages will be launched first. They will be followed in the coming weeks by more pages including racing schedules which are still being worked on.”
