TEAM NPP ON TRACK
EDSON, AB. – This September long weekend, Team NPP competes on both sides of the border. Darrell Midgley, fresh off his NPP Late Model Series sweep last weekend at Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway, is back on the pavement at Western Speedway in Victoria, British Columbia. Billed as one of the biggest pavement Late Model races in Western Canada, Midgley is racing the Northern Provincial Pipelines/Alien Race Cars #81 Dodge at the Reg Midgley Memorial Canada 200 on Saturday and Sunday (September 3rd & 4th).
Lane Zerbin is back at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington in his Northern Provincial Pipelines/Alien Chasis #81 Modified, looking to head to victory lane for the second weekend in a row. Zerbin grabbed his second win of the season south of the border last Saturday night after a daring front straight pass just before the finish line. The Victoria, British Columbia driver also won his Heat race earlier in the evening. Zerbin registered his first Modified win back in July at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Oregon. The Modifieds are the support class to the Sprint Cars on Sunday night.
