SANGUDO SESSIONS
EDMONTON, AB – Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series race teams have another option for spring testing in 2018. Track officials at Sangudo Speedway have an open invitation to all NPP Series teams to attend their 2018 season opener on May 19th and 20th. The invitation is also extended to any scheduled race dates at their track this season.
The Sangudo, Alberta facility is aggressively promoting its track this season and has reached out to many Alberta racing series that have not competed (or tested) at its track in several years. The last time the NPP Late Model Series made an official appearance at Sangudo Speedway was four years ago.
Twelve teams were on the property for the June 2014 race weekend. Sangudo track officials say that NPP Series teams showing up for their May 19th and 20th season opener will have several on-track sessions. Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway test and tune is scheduled for this on Saturday, May 12th. The NPP Late Model Series 2018 season opener is set for May 25th and 26th at Central Alberta Raceways. At this point in time the NPP Late Model Series does not have scheduled points event scheduled at Sangudo Speedway.
