EDMONTON, AB – Northern Provincial Pipelines Ltd., proud title sponsor of the NPP Late Model Series, is pleased to announce that Wade Fleming, seven-time Castrol Raceway Sprint Car season champion, will be racing the Boston Pizza Oil City Cup this Friday and Saturday night in Edmonton.  In order to run competitively with the ‘Outlaws’, Fleming’s #7 Northern Provincial Pipelines Sprint Car will be powered by an 850 horsepower, ‘410’ cubic inch engine instead of its normal ‘360’ power plant.  “I’m very excited to be given this huge opportunity,” says the Ardrossan, Alberta driver, “the most important thing for me will be to race smart and finish both nights.”  Fleming will also be joining the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series with his NPP sponsored Sprint Car on a road trip to Washington State.  The NPP Late Model Series will be racing at Grays Harbor Raceway on August 30th and September 1st.

FLEMING TO FLY NPP FLAG AT FIVE OUTLAW RACES

Fleming will be just a little busier, racing four consecutive nights in Washington State.  Fleming will be racing with the Outlaws in his ‘410’ Sprint Car at Skagit Speedway on August 29th and 30th.  He races his NPP sponsored ‘360’ Sprint Car at Grays Harbor Raceway on August 31st.  He then races with the Outlaws again on September 1st.
