EDSON, AB. – The Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series is pleased to announce that veteran motorsports commentator Gord Craig will be the official announcer for the 2006 Late Model Series tour.  “This is not your ordinary stock car class,” says Craig, “these are modern, high horsepower racecars that will hit speeds nearing 100mph at every track we visit this summer.”  Over $375,000 in prize money has been paid out to competitors the past 3 seasons.  In 2006, N.P.P. Late Model Series competitors will once again battle for over $100,000 in prize money.  “I’m very excited about the opportunity to travel with this incredible and talented group of drivers,” adds Craig, “racefans in Edmonton, Drayton Valley, Rimbey, Lethbridge, High River, and Swift Current are in for an incredible show when the NPP Late Model Series pays them a visit.”
