IRWINDALE, CA – Canada’s Darrell Midgley saved his best for last Saturday night in Southern California. A late race charge from the Sidney, British Columbia driver secured a third-place finish at the 2015 Spring Classic at Irwindale Speedway.

With less than 20 laps to go, Midgley maneuvered his Northern Provincial Pipelines Ltd./Alien Chassis #81 Dodge past Utah’s Jeff Hillock and California’s David Ross and Shane Hollis to grab a podium finish. Derek Thorn from Lakeport, California was the winner of the 100-lap Feature event. R.J. Johnson from Rancho Cucamongo, California placed second. Next race event for Midgley is the 1st annual Leonard Evans Memorial 200 at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval in Washington State on April 26th.
