EDMONTON, AB. – With the official start of the 2011 season still four months away, the official website of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series set a visit record for the month of January. “Over three-thousand people logged onto the website last month,” says NPP Late Model Series announcer Gord Craig, “both race fans and competitors continue to click the website during the long off-season for the latest NPP Series news.” January 2011 saw a total of 3,105 visits. The previous record for website visits during the month of January was 2,881 set in 2010. “This is a positive indicator for the upcoming race season.” The NPP Series website has had more than 114,000 visits since its official launch in May of 2007. The 2011 season begins at Bridge County Raceway in Lethbridge, Alberta on the May 14th and 15th long holiday weekend. The Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2011.
