VICTORIA, BC –  Westshore Motorsports Park welcomed back the Late Model division on the second weekend of June.  The Keg Late Model Series saw 18-cars take to the track for Saturday qualifying.  Team NPP drivers Darrell Midgley and Jason Frost kicked off the event by putting some impressive numbers on the board.  Midgley qualified the Northern Provincial Pipelines #81 Dodge in the number 1 spot.  Frost qualified his NPP machine in 3rd.  Saturday nights race saw the first twin 50’s of the 2022 season for Late Model teams. In the first 50-lap Feature,  Darrell Midgley finished 3rd, Frost finished 4th.  The second 50-lap Feature saw Frost finishing 2nd with Midgley finishing 12th.  Frost dominated the second Feature leading half the race.  Current point leader Rory Smith got past Frost with less than 10-laps to go and drove to victory.   Smith also grabbed the first 50-lap Feature. Part-time Team NPP driver Brandon Carlson, driving in his own Late Model, finished 2nd and 11th in the Saturday night Twin 50 Features.
