CHANGE OF PLANS

VICTORIA, BC – What originally was going to be a two-day, two-state road trip for Lane Zerbin has been reduced to a single night of racing.  The plan to race at Cottage Grove Speedway was shelved earlier this week.  Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington will be the lone race stop for Team NPP this weekend.  “We were hoping to race in Oregon Friday night,” exclaims the driver of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Ltd./C-Force Marine #81 Modified, “work for me has been very busy and my dad’s race shop has been busy too.”  Lane works for a plumbing company in Victoria, British Columbia.  His father Ted is the owner of Alien Race Cars. “Work makes the race car go around.”

#81 ZERBIN HAS FIVE STARTS AT GRAYS HARBOR RACEWAY IN 2018

With only five starts in 2018, it’s been a limited race season for Zerbin.  He has made the most of those starts securing three top-10 finishes which also include a third and a second place finish. Zerbin is coming off a 6th place finish at the Northwest Modified Nationals back on July 28th.  He admits that looking at the weekend forecast for Elma, Washington is a bit unnerving.  “The weather is not looking too great (for Saturday) but hopefully it clears up.  We are going to check the forecast in the morning and make a decision.”  Green flag at Grays Harbor Raceway is 5:00pm Saturday afternoon.
