SEASON PREVIEW: #2 ARVID FONSTAD
ENTWISTLE, AB – “We’re going to run as hard as we always do in the NPP class. If I can get the breaks maybe I can grab a couple of feature wins.”  The Entwistle, Alberta driver indicates it still stings a bit when reminded about being disqualified from one race last season.  “I’m having a tough time forgetting about that one (Swift Current).  The feature event win that was taken away from me due to a weight infraction.  It’s up to me to just deal with it.”  Fonstad is one of a few NPP Series drivers that will be competing in two different classes this season.  “I’ve already competed in my first IMCA Modified race down in Las Vegas.  I’ve got about a dozen major IMCA events I would like to compete in as well but time and the pocket book will dictate that.”  Fonstad is also organizing the annual Fathers Day Motorsports Spectacular at Drayton Valley’s Rapid Fire Motorsports Park June 16th and 17th.  “Its a lot of work but its worth it when it all comes together.”
