SEASON PREVIEW: #18 TIM BEAUSOLIEL
SEDGWICK, AB – “We’re planning on running the entire season if the parts hold out,” says the veteran driver out of Sedgewick, Alberta,”we lost one motor in Lethbridge last year, then our backup motor started giving us trouble in Okotoks. We decided enough was enough for 2006, lets save some bucks and look to next season.” After finished 9th in points in 2005, Beausoliel finished just out of the top ten in 2006. “Not happy with that,” laughs Beausoliel, “but what do you expect when you four miss races. This season, I hope, we will be in the battle for the front every night. Gotta get those Dodges and put them in their place.” For Beausoliel his car will virtually be the same as last year. “I still have the same car but we’re trying out some new things. If we can get the right set up we will be right there every night.” Beusoliel adds the exterior of his #18 Chevrolet will undergo a bit of a cosmetic change. “The car hits the paint booth this week. It will still be red and white but there will be a bit more red on the car compared to last season.” Beusoliel hopes to have his race car ready in time for test ‘n’ tune 07 at Castrol Raceway on Saturday, April 28th.
